Dr. Virginia Calvin
It gives me great pleasure to see so much community support.
Thank you to so many of you, for your help and support on our journey.
The women of this chapter share a strong desire to make a significant difference for black women and girls in our community. To better serve the community, our chapter's focus and strategic plan are aligned with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. We fully support the National mission: "To Advocate on behalf of Black Women and Girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in areas of Health, Education, Mentoring, and Economic Empowerment."
Our strategic plan is being developed to clearly reflect alignment with the mission and vision of the National organization. The program plans in development are being designed to help the chapter maintain its focus and commitment.
The South Bend Area Chapter is focused and committed to helping and supporting Black women and girls. The membership has worked very hard to build relationship with each other and to establish an unwavering determination to be of service and support to our community.
The South Bend Area Chapter is excited, eager, and ready to dive further into our work as part of an organization committed to advocating for Black women and girls, with goals to make opportunities and work equitable and equally as beneficial as they are for others.
What a special time this is for all of us! Please join us!
